It would be interesting to know the epidemic dangers of that period and the rituals associated with that. Tiger Plague would be one such....I would be surely interested in this aspect to know more about Tiger hunting and its implications on tiger population in the region.
This is the first time that I have come across the term 'tiger plague'. Is it really the name of a disease or does 'tiger bhutan' (bhoota?) mean 'menace due to tigers'. Either way, it is non-existant now!
